    Job Description

    We're looking for a talented Product Manager who loves challenges, pushes boundaries and is passionate about building a transformational product. You will help define and drive the product roadmap, manage priorities within cross-functional teams, make smart, data driven decisions and own the product end-to-end from ideation to post-production support. You will dive deep into customer needs, user stories and edge cases, determine the pain points and then collaborate with our talented designers and developers to create an outstanding product. You will be part of a proven world class technology team that is solving complex problems and delighting our customers.

    Responsibilities
    • Work with customers to create user stories, business cases and end-user experience
    • Create simple, futuristic, user-centric product screens based on user stories, use cases, user research, market analysis, customer feedback and usability findings
    • Collaborate with product designers, engineers and customers to build an outstanding product
    • Own the product and customer experience end-to-end
    Qualifications
    • BS degree with 3 or more years of Product Management experience with web/mobile applications
    • Ability to work with users and understand their process and requirements
    • Ability to write user stories, use cases and work flows and simplify the requirements
    • Ability to create mockup workflows of the screens and understanding of system engineering concepts
    • Define product requirements, prioritization and drive ongoing collaboration with our world-class engineering teams
    • Excellent communication skills including technical writing skills
    • Ability to envision product ideation through post production release support
    • Love challenges and be passionate about building a transformational product

    Job Description

    We're looking for talented Full-Stack Software Engineers who love challenges, push boundaries and are passionate about building a transformational product. In this senior-level engineering position, your software development expertise will drive success in building new features/ functionalities/ modules and improving our product that is transforming an industry. Our transparent and collaborative culture means we work both independently and together as a team on projects in an agile environment. This role will include hands on development of front-end and back-end code, effective collaboration in a fast-paced environment and delivering numerous exciting projects.

    Qualifications
    • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, similar field of study or equivalent practical experience.
    • 5 or more years of relevant work experience.
    • Experience in Software Development in programming languages including but not limited to: React JS / Redux library and Core JavaScript, Java and/or Go.
    • Experience architecting and developing large scale design, user interactions, reusable components for web applications
    • Proficiency with ES6/7/8, Webpack, GIT Usage (Terminal / Command Line Proficient), isomorphic React, RESTful APIs and modern front-end build pipelines and tools
    • Experience designing, building and implementing highly scalable microservices with a focus on high performance
    • Expertise implementing microservices using tools and technologies for messaging, RPC, containerization etc.
    • Extensive experience creating unit tests, performing code reviews, optimizing performance and ensuring standards for maintainability
    • Experience with CDNs, networking, MongoDB and/or MySQL
    • Solid Linux/UNIX OS and networking fundamentals
    • Love solving complex technical problems and having fun while doing it
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field.
    • Experience working with one or more of the following: Infrastructure, Machine Learning, Mobile Application Development, Embedded Systems.

    Job Duties:

    Plan, assign and manage the activities of a team of software application programmers to build and maintain Tekion’s software applications, including database, mobile applications and web-based applications. Analyze workflows, establish priorities, develop standards, and set deadlines. Review product requirements and product roadmaps and plan and coordinate application development and release activities. Work closely with product management to determine release scope and to ensure that features meet requirements. Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors and others to plan and schedule development activities and product releases. Solicit their cooperation and resolve problems. Review and analyze existing applications, coding standards, to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of those programs. Assign and review the work of programmers. Provide technical guidance and follow up to complete tasks on time. Provide estimates, timelines and milestones for proposed development scope/tasks. Track and report progress against project estimates, timelines, and milestones, and ensure on-time and high quality delivery of the project. Recruit, hire, train, and supervise programmers and participate in staffing decisions. Stay abreast of advances in technology in open source community and adopt and train teams on new programming languages. Consult with users, management, vendors and technical staff to assess cope and provide technical advice.

    Requires Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. Requires five years of experience in job offered, Technology Lead, System Analyst, Software Engineer, or related. Must have at least 4 years of experience with Soap UI, Fiddler, and SQL Server. May require travel to various locations.
